A broken sword, an inheritance kept, and the hope of a blade made whole again. The Broken Blade recalls a story carried through generations, for anyone who has a soft spot for wandering heirs and promises that outlast their keepers.
An easy piece to reach for on bookshop visits, slow weekends, and ordinary days that could use a little of your favorite world. The embroidered design keeps the story close.
• Black and Forest Green: 100% ring-spun cotton
• Dark Heather Grey: 65% polyester, 35% cotton
• 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²)
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Quarter-turned to avoid crease down the center
• Blank product sourced from Bangladesh, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Haiti or Guatemala
Care instructions
• Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent.
• Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry to prevent shrinking and color fading.
• Do not iron directly on the Print or Embroidered design; use a protective sheet or iron inside-out.
• Do not dry clean.

Most MEC Shop products are made on demand. Please allow approximately 10–14 business days for processing before your order ships.
I use this time to make sure each item is produced with the care and quality I want before it begins its journey to you.
Pre-order items usually require 4–5 weeks for processing, although in some cases they may take up to 5–6 weeks.
If your order includes both regular and pre-order items, they may ship separately because their production times and packaging requirements are different. You will still pay the same shipping cost whether they are ordered together or separately.
