The sword that broke in battle was kept in pieces for generations before it was reforged for the heir to the throne. The Broken Blade design holds on to the earlier shape, when the shards were all that remained of a sword that had changed the course of Middle-earth.

The broken blade makes a small detail on a cap for clear days outdoors.
