Refund Policy

RETURNS

Return rights depend on the laws that apply to your purchase.

Where applicable consumer law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal, you may return an eligible product within the applicable withdrawal period.

For customers protected by EU or Spanish consumer law, this period is generally 14 calendar days from the day you receive the goods, subject to certain legal exceptions.

To request a return, contact me at themiddleearthco@gmail.com or through the Contact page before the applicable return period expires.

Please include your order number and let me know that you would like to return the item.

Do not send an item back before contacting me. I will provide the appropriate return instructions once your request has been reviewed.

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, returned items may be inspected as you reasonably would in a physical shop. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

Whenever possible, please return items in their original condition and packaging.

For ordinary change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer unless I have stated otherwise or applicable law requires me to cover them.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

DAMAGES, DEFECTS & INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your item is damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, contact me within 14 days of receiving it at:

Please include:

your order number
a short description of the problem
clear photos showing the item and the issue

I will review the problem and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund, or another remedy available under applicable law.

Please do not return a damaged or incorrect item unless I ask you to do so.

PERSONALISED & MADE-TO-SPECIFICATION ITEMS

Where permitted by law, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to products that are:

clearly personalised
customised specifically for you
produced according to your individual specifications

This exception does not necessarily apply simply because a standard product is produced after an order is placed.

If you are unsure whether an item can be returned, please contact me before sending anything back.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, I cannot accept returns for:

personalised or made-to-specification products where a lawful exception applies
gift cards
digital products or downloads
items returned without prior approval where no statutory right requires acceptance

SALE ITEMS

Sale or discounted items are subject to the same mandatory consumer rights as full-price items where applicable.

A discount alone does not remove any statutory right of withdrawal or legal guarantee.

EXCHANGES

If you need a different size, colour, or product, please contact me first.

Where an exchange is not available, you may need to return an eligible item and place a new order.

Personalised or made-to-specification products may not be eligible for exchange except where they are damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise covered by applicable consumer law.
