Hi, I’m Pedro. A brand strategist, designer and lifelong explorer of Middle Earth.
The Middle Earth Companion began as a way for me to share my love for the legendarium, the stories behind it, and the countless details that make this world so rich. What started as a personal project has grown into a community of fellow explorers from around the world.
Why I created MEC Shop.
I created this shop because I wanted something different from the Middle Earth merchandise I kept seeing.
So much of it returns to the same familiar imagery. I wanted to look further into the legendarium and create designs inspired by its symbols, characters, places, objects and lesser-known stories.
Some designs become a kind of modern heraldry, symbols reimagined for the things we wear and carry today.
Others are illustrations created to tell a story.
But they all begin in the same place: the lore.
